Colorado’s 5th Congressional District was created with the 1972 election, and has been represented by Republican members of Congress ever since (the District has a Partisan Voting Index of R+14, making its voting history the most Republican for any in the state).

But, as they say, that conventional voting will soon be history

Since the 110th Congress, and after they let him out of Leavenworth so he could get a BS degree in Journalism, the 5th CD has been represented by US Representative Doug Lamborn. While you’re contacting him for constituent service (as they say, “good luck with that”), be sure to tell him to be afraid. Very afraid…

In terms of Counties, the CD 5 includes the following:

  1. Chaffee County
  2. El Paso County
  3. Fremont County
  4. Park County
  5. Teller County
